You trusted the vet

You trusted the vet

Apoquel, then Cytopoint. It helped — until it didn't. The 1am scratching always crept back.

You changed the food

You changed the food

Grain-free, then a hypoallergenic bag that cost more than your own weekly shop. No change.

You tried the supplements

You tried the supplements

Salmon oil, £40 chews, oatmeal baths. He ate them happily and scratched every night anyway.

Here's the truth:

Every single thing you tried was aimed at your dog. Not one of them touched the one thing your dog lies in for up to 20 hours a day.

  • Not the meds — they masked it, never removed it.
  • Not the food — the cause was never in his bowl.
  • Not the shampoos — they faded by lunchtime.

The one thing no vet, no shop, no forum ever mentioned: the detergent residue left in the bedding they sleep on.

Why this is the one thing left worth trying:
YOU’VE TRIED EVERYTHING FOR THE ITCH
#1

YOU’VE TRIED EVERYTHING FOR THE ITCH

Apoquel. Cytopoint. New food. Supplements. Shampoos. It helps for a while. Then the scratching comes back.
Sarah says:
“We tried everything. Every time I thought we’d fixed it, the scratching slowly came back.”
You changed everything about your dog. But not what surrounds their skin every day.
BUT YOU ONLY CHANGED THE DOG
#2

BUT YOU ONLY CHANGED THE DOG

New diets. New tablets. New shampoos. Every solution focused on your dog — not what they sleep on.
  • Changed their food
  • Changed their medication
  • Changed what you put on their skin
THE PROBLEM COULD BE HIDING IN THEIR BED
#3

THE PROBLEM COULD BE HIDING IN THEIR BED

Ordinary detergent can leave fragrance and other ingredients associated with washed fabric — right where your dog sleeps for hours.
Emma says:
“I changed everything for his itching. I never thought his freshly washed bed could be part of the problem.”

Results Dog Owners Notice

Dog owners were asked what changed after switching the laundry product used on their dog's bedding.

92%

of surveyed dog owners reported less frequent scratching after switching.

Why it matters

Less scratching can mean calmer skin, more comfortable nights and fewer interruptions for both dog and owner.

89%

noticed their dog licking or chewing their paws less often.

Why it matters

Paws, bellies and faces stay in direct contact with washed bedding for hours, making leftover detergent easy to overlook.

87%

said their dog's skin looked calmer and less irritated.

Why it matters

Earthly is designed to rinse clean, reducing avoidable contact with fragranced residue on the fabrics closest to their skin.

91%

reported calmer nights and more comfortable sleep for their dog.

Why it matters

A dog can spend 12-16 hours a day resting against bedding, so making that environment gentler matters every night.

Based on a survey of Earthly customers. Individual results may vary.

Tested and Certified Certified

At Earthly Sheets, quality is never an afterthought. Every sheet is carefully developed, rigorously tested and made with ingredients we're proud to put on the label — because your family deserves nothing less than a product you can truly trust.

Earthly Sheets laundry detergent sheets are dermatologically tested to the OECD-439 standard, certified as Non-Irritant and safe for sensitive skin. Gentle on skin without compromising on cleaning power — a thorough, effective wash your whole family can feel good about.

Earthly Sheets laundry detergent sheets are OECD-certified biodegradable, meaning they break down naturally without harming the environment or marine life. A powerful clean that's as good for the planet as it is for your home.

At Earthly Sheets we are extremely careful about what goes into our fragrances. We work with expert perfumers to ensure our scents are completely free from chemicals associated with endocrine disruption and other harmful health effects. The result is a fragrance that smells wonderful and is genuinely safe for your family and your home.

All Earthly Sheets packaging is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified — plastic free, compostable and recyclable, and sustainably sourced to help protect our forests for future generations.

As Seen In

Real owners, real homes

Full transparency

What is actually in the sheet

Four ingredients, nothing hidden behind the word fragrance. Tap any one to see what it is doing in there.

A coconut-derived surfactant that lifts dirt and grime out of fabric, so bedding comes out genuinely clean without harsh petrochemical cleaners.

Naturally occurring enzymes that break down protein and starch stains — drool, mud, food and grass — without harsh chemicals.

Our only fragrance — natural lemon oil. No synthetic perfume, no hidden fragrance blends locked into the fabric.

The sheet itself — independently tested by TÜV Thüringen and proven to biodegrade by 90% within 28 days (OECD 301B).

How the chemicals come out

Your dog sleeps on whatever your last wash left behind. Here is how Earthly takes it out.

1

Wash with Earthly

Half a strip for a small load, one full strip for a large one. Straight into the drum with their bedding and blankets.

2

The chemicals wash out

Fragrance, softener and detergent chemicals sit in the fibres from every wash before. Earthly adds none of them and lifts out what is already in there.

3

They finally sleep

No chemical coating left in the bed, just clean fabric. That is what your dog lies on for 12 to 16 hours a day, every single night.

I ordered Earthly sheets just to try them as I was fed up carrying big boxes of powder. I’ve also tried capsules and I feel that they make your machine smell !
Love the sheets, they wash your clothes well, they smell nice and there is no residue. The only issue I have is the length of time delivery takes.

It's British for a start

It's British for a start - Yippee!! I want very much to support British Industry and this company makes it easy. The website is user friendly and the product includes all those aspects that allow me to also contribute to the non harming our beautiful planet. And best of all for a pension on a limited income, the prices are competitive with Chinese alternatives.

I have a dog with awful skin allergies. I read about this product from a vet who made perfect sense about coming into contact with Chemicals through various washing powders etc. I also have had cancer in my throat, it has left my neck, shoulders and lower face very Sore and sensitive. So, I'm going to give these a chance and see if they help Florence and me!!

Ordering was easy

Ordering was easy, the description and explanation was very informative and believable. I have ordered these for my itchy 12yr old lab and 10yr old labrahound who have been diagnosed with MANY allergies, including grass, pea and housefly 🤷🏼‍♀️ for their constant itching and licking. Hope they are as good as they say they are and give them some relief🤞🏻 as I’ve taken up a subscription.

Looking forward to receiving & trying…

Looking very much forward to receiving & trying out my first pack of Earthly Laundry Sheets! I've bought them particularly to try with my two elderly rescue dogs in mind as they've both developed sensitive skin allergies now they're 'seniors' and my Vet suggested it might be the laundry products I use to wash their duvet covers, blankets & towels, so I researched for gentler alternatives & found Earthly! Can't wait to see if they make a positive difference for my "itchy" doggies....and with my own laundry too of course as I've found some laundry products disagree with my rather dry skin too! Happy to follow up after actually using Earthly, so wish us all luck! 😄

Good To Know

Questions, Answered

Everything dog owners ask us most. Still stuck? We are one message away.

Put your laundry in the machine, place one sheet on top, and start the wash. That's it — no measuring, no mess, no plastic jug. Use one sheet for a regular load and two for a large or heavily soiled load.

Yes. The sheets dissolve fully in any washing machine — front or top loader, high-efficiency or standard — and at every temperature, from cold washes to hot cycles.

Every single ingredient is published on our site — nothing left out. The short version: water, a dissolvable plant-based sheet, coconut-derived cleansers, stain-fighting enzymes, a natural water softener and natural lemon oil as the only fragrance. No dyes, no optical brighteners, no synthetic perfume.

Your dog spends hours a day on washed fabrics — bedding, blankets, the sofa. Regular detergents are designed to leave fragrance and brighteners behind in the fibres, and that residue sits against your dog's skin, coat and nose. Our sheets rinse out fully, so there's simply less left behind on the fabrics they live on.

Absolutely — they're made for your entire wash, not just dog bedding. The same gentle, fully-disclosed formula works for clothes, towels and bed linen, and is a good fit for sensitive skin in general.

Yes. Sodium carbonate tackles odours, while two enzymes — protease and amylase — break down protein and starch stains, which covers most of what dogs bring home: drool, mud, food and grass.

The sheet itself has been independently tested by TÜV Thüringen and proven to biodegrade by 90% within 28 days (OECD 301B standard). The packaging is plastic-free, and shipping is lighter than liquid detergent because you're not paying to transport water.

Like any laundry product, the sheets should be stored out of reach of pets and children. If your dog does eat one, contact your vet — bring the packaging so they can see the full ingredient list, which we publish openly.

One sheet is one regular wash, so a pack lasts as many washes as it has sheets. Check the pack size on the product page — and because the sheets are flat, a whole pack fits in a drawer or even through your letterbox.

Orders are typically dispatched within 1 working day and arrive within a few days, tracked. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.

Try the sheets risk-free. If you're not happy within 30 days, contact us and we'll sort it — refund or replacement, no long forms, no hassle.

Yes — message us as soon as possible and we'll change or cancel it before it ships. Once it's on its way, you can still use the 30-day guarantee.

Still have a question?

Tell us about your home and your dog and we will point you in the right direction. No sales pitch.
